I am able to save you a journey if you like... or visit us and tend your own hive

It is not always easy to go to your hive for wherever reason, work, holidays other commitments. Bees do need certain treatments at different times of the year, its easy to miss and get behind on the hive management. At the HillyBee Apiary you can either do the work yourselves or if you prefer I am able to offer certain services for your colony. 



It is however the responsibility of each hove owner in the HillyBee Apiary that their respective colony(s) are kept free from pests / disease, all of which I am happy to help with.



If you have special requirements that's OK I can help just ask...

 I will feed your bees for you while away (if needed)

I am able to feed your bees with ambrosia syrup through the summer and fondant through the winter. 



Feed will be added to your final bill and any surplus can be taken away for use later in your own Apiary. 



Please note that no feed any be brought into the HillyBee Apiary

Service Cost £1.00 (per feed application) 

I will prepare your hive for supper removal

 

If you want me to place a bee escape below the super or blow the bees out of your super just let me know and I will ensure that all the bees are out of the super in readiness to your arrival.



Service Cost £4.50

I will treat your hive for Verroa

 

 

​I am happy to treat your hive with one of the following treatments,

  • Icing Sugar Dusting
  • Apiguard (Trays)
  • Trickle 2 (1 bottle does 2 Hives)

 

Treatment will be added to your final bill and any surplus can be taken away for use later in your own Apiary.



Service Cost £5.00 + cost of chosen treatment
